Philips Professional Display Solutions sign with Bees Buzz PR

20 May 2019

Bees Buzz Public Relations – the communications and PR agency who operate solely in the pro AV arena – have signed with DOOH display specialists Philips Professional Display Solutions.

A household name in consumer technology for over 100 years, Philips’ range of professional displays cover the full spectrum of AV markets, including hospitality, retail, healthcare, education and corporate. A full range of new indoor LED solutions, ranging from 1.2mm to 4.8mm pixel pitch, was unveiled at this year’s ISE show in Amsterdam.

The new deal comes just weeks after Bees Buzz’ appointment of former AVTE editor Michael Garwood as Content Director, a hire that promises a strong year of growth for the company following a recent long-term extension of their deal with Kramer Electronics. Bees Buzz also work closely with video management specialists Datapath, AV mounting manufacturer B-Tech and DOOH specialists Trueform Digital.

Stuart Hillis, owner of Bees Buzz, said:

“We have been seeking the perfect display manufacturer for our client base and we’re delighted to announce this deal with Philips Professional Displays. My first piece of technology, bought for me by my grandfather, was a Philips transistor radio and I have had an allegiance to the brand ever since. Philips Professional Displays are central to some of the world’s premier digital signage projects. Operating in all vertical markets, our renowned team look forward to achieving great things together.”

Eva van der Kuip, senior marketing manager for Philips Professional Displays EMEA, added:

“Bees Buzz are a natural fit to support and amplify our industry reach. From our first meeting, it was clear that their team have a deep understanding of our technology and our markets, and the ability to make a big impact on our targeted audience. Philips Professional Displays continue to lead the way with innovative, professional display solutions – including the world’s first hospitality TV with built-in Chromecast – and we look forward to further increasing our growth with brand awareness and effective, targeted, industry PR”
