Bees Buzz is owned and run by Stuart Hillis, a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Stuart headed up PR at one of Europe's largest AV distributors, Midwich, during their international expansion phase and has been Director at a London PR agency specialising in broadcast and media technology.
A creative thinker and respected writer, Stuart has over 30 years’ experience in journalism and media. And an avid fan of quality sound and vision since the 70s, he now thankfully avoids the fashion of the era, but retains that passion and interest in all things technology – from vinyl to VR.
A valued member of the Bees Buzz team since early 2019, Michael Garwood is a highly qualified and experienced B2B technology journalist and editor of more than 20 years.
A self-confessed tech enthusiast, Michael has built an impeccable reputation, reporting on some of the world's leading and most influential organizations and industries, including telecoms, VR, AI and now AV.
Combining business with pleasure, Michael burst onto the AV scene back in 2017, overseeing the creation and launch of the highly acclaimed industry title AV Technology Europe. The success of the title, elevated Michael to become a regular contributor to leading titles around the world, and regularly called upon to chair AV discussions, present live webcasts, host and present major awards, and partake in charity AV sporting events.
With specialist knowledge and understanding of the inner and outer workings of the AV industry, Michael is now a firmly established, trusted and respected member of the global AV community, with his unique skillset and personable approach, delivering outstanding value to Bees Buzz clients.

Margot is the former content director for AV Technology Magazine in the United States, which she edited for 17 years.
Bringing an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience of the US marketplace, her magazine won Best Media Brand in the 2018 Jessie Neal Awards. Margot was also awarded the 2018 Marianne Dekker Mattera Mentor Award for outstanding stewardship in publishing and has become a thought leader in AV over IP best practices, Education Technology, and UX. A multimodal writer and AV/IT University advisor, Margot earned a PhD in creative writing and received international acclaim for her interactive, Virtual Reality storytelling project. Her fiction debut was named a New York Times Book Review Editors' Choice, Apple Books Best Book of the Month and Amazon Editors' Pick. Quite simply, Margot is one of the best writers in the business.
Emma has been in client management for more than a decade, with over 7 years specifically in Pro-AV. She is acutely expert at managing large volumes of deliverables at any one time, on time and mistake free.
With a large network of global friends and colleagues, Emma has a great a passion for distributing a story to ensure it gets seen. And excelling with awards, she has written many of the entries which have received countless nominations and wins on behalf of Bees Buzz clients.
